I joined the Parkmont family in 2014, and I’ve been shaking things up ever since! I have a love of learning and adventure that fuels both my teaching and my passions outside the classroom. In school, I use my skills to teach math, reading group, speech and debate, film, psychology, Spanish, theatre, fashion, dance… the list keeps growing. Outside of the classroom, you’ll have to travel abroad to find me — I could be surfing in Portugal, exploring pyramids in Egypt, or white-water rafting in Peru. When I was at Towson University, I always knew I’d work with teenagers, but I had no idea it would be as a teacher; now it has become my most cherished role. Every year I look forward to building new relationships and fostering a supportive community through my role as an advisor and by facilitating extra-curricular activities. I haven’t led any Parkmont adventures yet, but when I do, I guarantee it will be epic!
