I am originally from San Diego, California, and while I miss my family and the beach, I’ve enjoyed building my life on the East Coast. I came to Washington, D.C., to earn my B.A. in International Affairs with a minor in Spanish from George Washington University. After graduating, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic, where I taught literacy in Spanish in rural communities for two years. I am excited to continue my teaching journey here at Parkmont! Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing soccer, drinking tea, and reading.
